• When they get close to the pin (50 yards or less), they switch gears, turn around and finish the hole on green made out of turf. This isn’t just any green, though - it’s one that rotates to match the undulations of the virtual course. Crazy stuff.

The team format is fast-paced and fun:

• First, there’s a nine-hole “triples” match where three players alternate shots against three players of another team.
• Then, it’s six-hole singles, with each golfer playing two holes head-to-head.
