One of the toughest parts about setting up a golf simulator is where and how to mount your projector. With the 2024 releases of the BenQ AH700ST and AK700ST, that process just got significantly easier.
The BenQ AH700ST and AK700ST are not just about projecting images; they are about making your setup as seamless and enjoyable as the game itself. Let’s dive into why they are your new best friend on the virtual greens.
BenQ AH700ST and AK700ST Features

What are the differences between the BenQ AH700ST and AK700ST?
There is really just one main difference: resolution. The AH700ST is 1080p HD, while the AK700ST is a 4K projector.
Other specs that stand out to us include:
- Throw ratio: both are right in the wheelhouse for perfect throw ratio to use in golf simulators
- Corner fit and keystone: the AH700ST comes with corner fit, while the AK700ST does not. However, along with vertical and horizontal keystone, the AK700ST does come with 3d and rotation keystone capabilities at 30 degrees.
- Lens shift: sadly, not available. Most projectors that have lens shift are significantly more expensive.
Conclusion
BenQ is taking the golf simulator industry more serious than just about any other projector company, and it shows, especially with the AH700ST and AK700ST's easy installation features.
If you’re the type of person who is overwhelmed thinking about how you’re going to get your projected image to fit your screen perfectly, then these projectors would be a great option for you.
